Croatian National Theatre in Split to Offer 10 Premiere and 9 Concerts in the New Season

This is looking like a very exciting year in the National Croatian Theatre in Split. The audience will be able to enjoy 9 concerts and 10 premieres – 2 operas, 2 ballet and 6 plays on both the main stage and small stage of the theatre.

If you're an opera aficionado, then you will be happy to hear that the first opera premiere is on October 17th – "Samson and Dalila" by Camille Saint – Saens. It is directed by one of Croatia's most respected theatre directors Krešimir Dolenčić.

Second opera premiere announced today is "Ernani" by Giuseppe Verdi, and audiences will be able to see it on March 17th.

Premiere ballet season starts on October 30th with the performance 5 to 12, choreographed by Igor Kirov, music by Kiril Djajkovski. This ballet was performed during this year's Split Summer Festival and got fantastic reviews so if you missed it, make sure you save the date for the new performances.

The second ballet premiere will be " Vragolasta djevojka", choreographed by Dinko Bogdanić and it is scheduled for February 20th.
