The season of summer music events is here, and with the biggest music event in the region around the corner, ULTRA Europe is here to help you find the best fashion fits. In addition to a stellar lineup and fantastic production, one of the most important and recognizable aspects of ULTRA is the full range of creative and innovative fashion from visitors from more than 140 countries, making the Youth Park stadium a diverse mix of cultures and personal styles. The ULTRA Europe Festival has become recognized as an unusual music and fashion playground, which promotes inclusiveness, creativity, and authenticity. Thus, this year, an entire fashion collection for women and men has been revealed!

The main actors of the latest collection are reflective holographic bomber jackets, neon leather designs, neon tones on T-shirts, caps, backpacks, and sunglasses that perfectly reflect the vibe of the ULTRA Europe festival. Combined with various details, they create an authentic neo-cyberpunk look. To take your outfit to an even higher level, there are also bracelets, flags, bandanas, and bucket hats, which are an absolute hit all over the world this season.

This year's collection also presents a new line dedicated to one of the world's most famous music programs, which has its special stage in the Youth Park. Namely, the RESISTANCE program focuses on underground electronic musicians and offers the integration of an independent fashion scene with dark techno vibes. Black hoodies, T-shirts, and fashion accessories such as caps with military details are just some of the pieces in this year's festival collection.

The entire textile range is produced in Croatia, from certified materials and can be purchased on the West Coast in Split from July 5 to 12, at the camp in Omis from July 7 to 12, and at several locations within the Park Youth. Payment is possible with all cards, and through the cashless system, and for all purchases over 300 kuna, a drawstring backpack is added to the purchase until stocks last. In addition, for all purchases over HRK 350 with a Mastercard card, a 10% discount is granted.

The collection was shot at the Secret club in Zagreb. In front of the lens of photographer Mario Poje were two famous Croatian models, Lana Klarić and Sandro Stanojević. Karla Glasnović (Profokus) was the makeup artist, while Fran Brunović (Profokus) was in charge of the hair.

The Croatian National Tourist Board and Samsung Electronics Adriatic are proud partners of the ULTRA Europe festival. March 22, 2022 - 20,000 Ultra Europe tickets have been sold so far by buyers from 90 countries, confirming that Split will once again be the center of the electronic music world this summer.

Hibernating and waiting for life to return to where it left off almost two years ago is over, said the marketing agency and event company MPG, best known to the public as the organizers of the Ultra Europe festival announced for the summer. MPG is celebrating 25 years of business. In its celebratory year, it reveals the return of the biggest live events and completely new experiences, based on innovations and rich experiences and adapted to all the challenges of the new decade, reports Poslovni.

MPG operates in 8 countries, has more than 500 permanent employees, over 4,000 part-time employees, offices in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Belgrade, and Skopje, and is a member of a strong European network of independent SSI agencies. Behind them is a collaboration with more than 250 multinational brands, numerous live events, festivals, concerts, sporting events, retail and digital marketing. The company points out that in the pandemic, the creative forces of MPG have become even more creative. As a result, the challenges have become new opportunities that have resulted in the introduction of new technologies and adapting and implementing projects that represent future marketing.

“The tectonic changes in the way we do business caused by the pandemic have been an incredible challenge for us in the global live industry. Despite everything, I am proud that MPG managed to keep most of its workers. This has been our priority because we have always invested in people, our employees, the greatest wealth this company has. I am thrilled that in the celebratory year, we can announce the return of our biggest event, the ULTRA Europe festival, which is returning to Split after two years. Our desire, mission, and vision are to create emotions and unique experiences, and we are happy to be able to return to what we do best, and that is to make people happy," said Joe Bašić, CEO and founder of MPG.

ULTRA Europe is the largest international event in the region, and after a two-year break, it will reopen its doors to more than 100,000 visitors. Just how eager people are for live events is also shown by the fact that 20,000 tickets have already been sold from more than 90 countries worldwide. This event creates one billion kuna of additional spending for Croatia and more than 35 million euros of marketing value, which brings a big and positive promotion of the festival and Split and Croatia as destinations, reminds MPG. The festival organizers added that they used the break to offer their visitors an even more special musical and production experience for the eighth edition.

Joe Bašić on 2021 Ultra Europe: We Will Know More in 60 Days

February 12, 2021 - The organizer of the Ultra Europe music festival, Joe Bašić, revealed to Enter Zagreb the plans for this year's Ultra Europe in Split. He also admitted that he expects an explosion of fun after we're on the other side of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thousands of partygoers from all over the world did not meet last year at Ultra Europe in Split, as the festival was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are still waiting for an official decision on this year's festival, as well, reports 24 Sata

"It is certainly too early for conclusions now; I believe that in 60 days we will be in a better situation and that we will be better able to assess the circumstances related to COVID and the possibilities of organizing the festival," said Bašić.

"As responsible organizers, we monitor events, work closely with the authorities, all those responsible for making decisions for the safety of visitors and the festival. Internationally, we work with several groups of people trying to find a solution for the festival's future, from Covid passports to rapid tests. I’ve been to more of these conversations, trying to find a solution, but unfortunately, it’s hard to be smart there. Every day something changes, and we, as serious and responsible organizers, cannot confirm anything. We also cannot make decisions without an official decision from the state and the city," Bašić believes.

Speaking generally about the future of the festival, Bašić is optimistic.

"As for the music industry, I think it is an industry that will be proactive and find a solution for the future. Music is an integral part of life; people will always find an opportunity to enjoy it. I think that psychologically it is an important factor, young people can't wait to go out, they are waiting for socializing. At the moment when it is possible to return to festivals and events, I think it will be one big show," he concluded.

ULTRA Europe Announces Seven New Artists Performing in Split this Summer

March 4, 2020 - The unique destination music festival ULTRA Europe has announced even more names to the 2020 lineup.

Even more electronic music stars will perform at the eighth edition of the ULTRA Europe music festival, to be held from July 10-12 at Park Mladezi in Split. On Tuesday, seven new names were revealed, joining many of the already announced performers.

Namely, Above & Beyond, Dash Berlin, Dillon Francis, Joseph Capriati, Krewella, Oliver Heldens and Nicky Romero are the next batch of stars who will perform live in Split in front of tens of thousands of their fans from around the world, on one of the two biggest festival stages, according to organizers. Festivalgoers won’t have to wait long for another lineup announcement, either.

Above & Beyond is an English electronic trio made up of Paavo Siljamaki, Jono Grant and Tony McGuinness. Their 17 successful years include the revolutionary radio show Group Therapy, tours of the world's most famous clubs and festivals, numerous primal dance anthems, and their own label featuring a catalog of excellent musicians. In less than a month, they are embarking on a major Acoustic III Tour, and even Croatian fans won't have to wait long to see them live. The performance in Split will be as original as ever.

The name Dash Berlin nearly says it all. This award-winning Dutchman has outstanding skills in leading his audience on an energetic musical journey. He says his success is due to the love of his fans who have always supported him and remained faithful to him throughout his career, and is recognized for his emotional and energetic quality dance music, which he loves to bring to the stage.

Another big Dutch star, Oliver Heldens, became one of the most sought-after DJs of today, and with his hit 'Turn Me On', he didn't get off the top of the dance charts. He has just completed a major tour of America, and his warm-up release for summer shows is his newly released single 'Take A Chance'. The ULTRA music family will be joined by successful Dutch musician Nicky Romero this summer, who recently dropped a new single called 'Falling', which brings his listeners back to the golden age of the electro house movement, but at a much faster pace. Vini Vici is an Israeli duo whose sound can be described as psytrance. The collaboration began in 2013 and is well known to the audience of ULTRA Europe.

Dillon Francis is an American DJ and producer known for being one of the pioneers of moombahton and moombachcore style. He is currently preparing for the start of the big Sugar, Spice & Everything tour, and will return to the ULTRA stage after a full four-year hiatus. Krewella is another name from America, made up of sisters Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, who live in Los Angeles who have grown into true symbols of female power. Their rebellious fashion and attitude have encouraged millions of fans to embrace them, and their performances are considered one of the unique musical performances in the world.

Due to its cult status, and to the demand of a large number of fans, the Resistance dance arena is set to hit the biggest release this year, with Joseph Capriati joining the already announced Adam Beyer, Anna, Charlotte De Witte, Mace Plex and Marc Carola. This young Italian DJ and producer is recognized for his emotional techno sound, performed with special precision, charm and infectious energy that has become one of the hallmarks of the global club and festival scene.

Flying Clipper from Brodosplit Embarks on First Tour to Hvar with Ultra Organizers

Brodosplit presented the Flying Clipper - a unique sailboat designed according to the 1911 model - which is also the largest sailboat in the world.

Meet the Flying Clipper, the largest sailboat in the world which will enter the Guinness Book of World Records. It is the first sailboat with built-in "Safe return to port" security standards and meets all the requirements for the US Coast Guard and US Public Health Service. The Flying Clipper is the only sailboat in the world that has received the highest possible class for noise and vibration, reports Dnevnik.hr and Splitski Dnevnik on July 15, 2019.

The boat is 162 meters long and 18.5 meters wide, with a load of 2000 tons, has five masts and boasts a total of 6,347 square meters. On five decks, the Flying Clipper can accommodate up to 450 people. It has 224 cabins, of which 150 are luxury cabins for 300 passengers and 74 cabins for 150 crew members.

On Monday, the Flying Clipper embarked on its first tour to Hvar thanks to the organizers of the Ultra Europe Festival, who even have plans to continue cooperating with Brodosplit.

"Ultra is an international story, a manifestation that has developed in Split for the past seven years. Likewise, the Flying Clipper is an international story and we are proud to be able to work with them. Our engagement with the shipyard started four years ago when our workers helped them set up scaffolds. This cooperation is proof that Ultra is the driver of development for the City of Split and together with Brodosplit, we want to build the future here. In our new home, Park Mladeži is another connection with Brodosplit where we have beautiful views from the Resistance stage of the Brodosplit Shipyard,” said Joe Bašić, the organizer of the Ultra Europe festival.

Bašić concluded by saying that this was the best Ultra so far and that he is sure that next year will be even better.

Over the next four days, the Flying Clipper will sail the organizers of Ultra Europe, dozens of foreign journalists and party leaders to visit the festival events on the islands of Brač, Hvar and Vis.

Recall, a 70 million euro contract between Brodosplit and Star Clippers owner Mikhail Krafft has recently been terminated because both sides claimed that it had been violated: Krafft had exceeded the deadlines and the Split shipyard failed to meet the conditions for completion. The dispute is still moving towards arbitration, but, according to unofficial information, negotiations over a possible compromise are also in parallel.

Thus, during that time, the ship is officially owned by the Split shipyard and will sail under the flag under which it was built - Malta.

Ultra Europe Day 2 Enjoyed by Croatian Politicians, Representatives of Tourist Boards

Justin Oh, Kryoman, Lost Kings, DJ Snake, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, No Redemption, Afrojack and Alesso all graced the main festival stage at Ultra Europe on Saturday night, which was breathtaking in its presence, production and special effects. The rivers of festival goers flowed for hours, with the first queues already lined up at 7 pm when the organizers opened the main entrance.

The largest international event in Croatia has seen great support from the local tourist boards, the tourism sector and the Government of Croatia. Thus, the mayor of Split, Andro Krstulović Opara, and Joe Bašić, on behalf of the Ultra organization, was proud to welcome guests from Zagreb to show them precisely what Ultra is all about. Namely, Zagreb mayor Milan Bandić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board, Kristjan Staničić, director of the Zagreb Tourist Board, Martina Bienenfeld, State Secretary Tonči Glavina, and Alijana Vukušić, Split Tourist Board director experienced first hand why the festival is king. Recall, Ultra will also mark a million visitors to date in Split.

Even better news is that the second day of the festival saw the fewest medical interventions ever. Namely, at the end of the night, four festival goers were taken to the hospital.

Furthermore, before, during, and after the second day, no significant negative security events were reported, relating to disturbing public order and peace to a greater extent, injuring festival goers or damaging property. Eight property crimes were reported, mostly theft, according to the Split-Dalmatia County Police Department.

“A total of 112 persons, Croatian and foreign nationals, were arrested, mainly because of the violation of the Drug Abuse Act. The criminal investigation of three people is ongoing with the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs,” said Antonela Lolić, the spokesperson of the Split-Dalmatia County Police Department.

Tonight, Axwell, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and the highly anticipated performance of Swedish House Mafia will help close out another prosperous Ultra Europe.

Ultra Europe Day 1 Survives New Location, No Major Incidents Reported

July 13, 2019 - "Croatia Make Some Noise! We Love You Split!” Ultra Europe officially opened its 7th edition on Friday at this year’s new location, Park Mladeži stadium in Split. Although the new location brought out quite a few skeptics, Ultra Europe once again demonstrated why it is a top event in Europe and why it is worshipped by hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

Stijn DeGrauwe

Another historical night of Croatian music and entertainment was written on Friday, and judging by the reactions of the many international DJ names and their beloved fans, the future and the development the only Ultra event in Europe is looking even brighter.

The 7th edition of Ultra Europe was even enjoyed by Split mayor Andro Krustolivić-Opara and the director of the Split Tourist Board, Alijana Vukšić.

"We will see what the figures are on Monday, as well as the income for tourism workers, for Split and Croatian tourism. This is a big success tonight, that's the main reason for my happiness,  which will continue as long as the festival is fun. All the conditions have already shown that we are going to go to the top,” the mayor said for Splitski Dnevnik.

“These positive young people say it best. One hundred forty countries are here, and we'll talk about the final numbers after Ultra. If everything is as good as it started tonight, it will be one of the most successful Ultra festivals ever,” said Alijana Vukšić for Dalmacija Danas and also commented on the current tourism figures in Split.

Fabian Leitner

“Hotels and the high category of private accommodation have so far been full. We hope that the arrival of these young Ultra guests will fill the rest of the private accommodation.”

Joško Stella, director of the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, repeated the organizer's words that this year's festival sold the most tickets yet.

“You can really see it. Somewhere in the middle of David Guetta’s performance, I saw that the entire terrain and its surroundings were full. The first night is very successful. We have beautiful weather, a great atmosphere, and attendance - it’s a full hit!” Stella said.

"I have to admit I was skeptical at first, but now that I've seen it, I think this is a perfect location and that everything is well organized. All the towns around Split feel the positive effects of this festival. We must not forget that all these DJs like Guetta and others have many followers and is important to them where their concerts are held, and this gives a great marketing effect to Split and the County.”

Before, during and after the first day of Ultra Europe, no significant security incidents have been reported to the Split-Dalmatia County Police by Saturday morning, in the sense of disturbing public order and peace to a greater extent, injuring visitors, or damaging property.

Niclas Ruehl

Nine property crimes were reported, while a total of 119 persons, including Croatian and foreign nationals, were arrested, mainly due to the violation of the Drug Abuse Act.
