Klenovica Fishing Port Upgraded

ZAGREB, July 21, 2018 - Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure Oleg Butković (HDZ), and Prefect of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Zlatko Komadina (SDP), sailed into the northern Adriatic fishing port of Klenovica on Saturday to mark the completion of works on the second phase of the port's reconstruction, worth 16 million kuna.

1.7 Billion Euro from EU Funds for Croatia’s Transport Sector

ZAGREB, May 29, 2018 - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure has so far signed contracts for 58 EU-funded projects worth about 12.7 billion kuna (1.7 billion euro), which makes it the most successful government department in absorbing EU funds, Minister Oleg Butković said on Tuesday. He was speaking at a conference called "The kind of Croatia that we need - Croatia's transport future", organised by the Večernji List newspaper.

New Taxi Services Law Sent to Parliament

ZAGREB, April 5, 2018 - The Croatian government on Thursday sent to the parliament a bill on road transport to be discussed under fast-track procedure. Among other things, the bill will make it possible to order and pay for taxi services via an electronic application. It also removes the existing limit on the number of taxi licences and makes it possible for taxi drivers to determine fares on their own.
