Meteorological Service Launches Two Strategic Projects

ZAGREB, March 23, 2018 - By launching two large strategic projects for Croatian meteorology co-financed by the European Union, the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service (DHMZ) on Friday celebrated World Meteorological Day, March 23, and World Water Day, March 22, with Environment Protection and Energy Minister Tomislav Ćorić congratulating the DHMZ for successfully absorbing EU regional development funds.

Snow and Extremely Low Temperatures Hit Parts of Croatia

Croatia Preparing for New Snow Storms

ZAGREB, February 22, 2018 - Following forecasts about inclement wintry weather on the way, Croatia has braced itself for more snow and freezing conditions, and members of the National Protection and Rescue Directorate and troops of the Armed Forces will be available in removing the consequences of snow storms in mountainous regions of the country in the coming days.
