Serbia Commemorates Operation Storm Anniversary

ZAGREB, August 5, 2018 - A day before the 23rd anniversary of Operation Storm, a joint Croatian military and police operation that ended a Serb armed rebellion in August 1995 and restored Croatian sovereignty over occupied central and southern parts of the country, enabling peaceful reintegration of eastern Croatia in January 1998, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić paid his respects to the Serb victims, saying the Operation Storm was motivated by hatred towards Serbs and that strong Serbia would never again allow another Storm.

Hajduk Fans Receive 15-Day Prison Terms for Rampaging in Serbia

ZAGREB, August 4, 2018 - Fourteen fans of the Hajduk football club from the southern Croatian coastal city of Split have each been sentenced to 15 days in prison and banned from entering Serbia for a year, a court in Belgrade has ruled, according to local media reports on Saturday.

Serb National Council on Operation Storm Anniversary

ZAGREB, August 3, 2018 - The Serb National Council (SNV) on Friday issued a statement ahead of the 23rd anniversary of Operation Storm, saying that even 23 years after the end of the war in Croatia, the spirit of war was not giving way to a spirit of peace in public and private relations in Croatia and in its relations with other countries.

32 Football “Fans” from Croatia Arrested in Serbia

Serbian President Vučić Comments on Operation Storm Anniversary

ZAGREB, August 1, 2018 - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said on Wednesday that Serbia would mark the anniversary of 1995's Operation Storm in Croatia in dignity, and added that in reference to Serbia-Croatia relations President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović was the "least worst partner in Croatia."
