Zagreb-Karlovac Motorway to Get an Upgrade

ZAGREB, August 11, 2018 - A contract on allocation of 1.4 million kuna for the project of adjustment of infrastructure along the Zagreb-Karlovac motorway was signed in Zagreb on Saturday by Transport and Infrastructure Minister Oleg Butković, the Central Finance and Contracting Agency (SAFU) director Tomislav Petrić, and the Rijeka-Zagreb Motorway (ARZ) operator's board chair Miro Škrgatić, the ministry stated.

Road Companies Sign Loan Contracts

ZAGREB, April 6, 2018 - The Hrvatske Ceste, Hrvatske Autoceste and Autocesta Rijeka-Zagreb road management companies signed loan contracts with eight banks on Thursday. That is the final step in the second round of the financial restructuring of the road sector, the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure said on Friday.

Unions Support Government's Road Sector Plans

ZAGREB, April 2, 2018 (Hina) - The leader of the Independent Road Trade Union Mijat Stanić commended the government's model for the restructuring of the road sector, expressing satisfaction that at least 350 million kuna would be saved each year with decreased interest rates. "With regard to debt rescheduling, that has been done very well and above all expectations. If it's true that we will save at least 350 million kuna a year through decreased interest rates, that is very welcome," Stanić told Hina.
