Carmina Burana to Open 37th Grič Evenings

ZAGREB, June 17, 2018 - The 37th edition of Zagreb's popular summer event Grič Evenings will be held from June 28 to July 17, and the first of nine musical treats to be staged at Grič, an attractive part of the capital's historical Upper Town, will be a performance of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" by the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery.

Croatian Intangible Cultural Heritage Presented in Strasbourg

ZAGREB, May 31, 2018 - Croatia's Culture Minister Nina Obuljen Koržinek formally opened an exhibition on Croatian intangible cultural heritage in Strasbourg on Wednesday, inaugurating Croatian cultural events over the next six months during the country's chairmanship of the Council of Europe, which has its seat in the city.

ZAGREB, April 29, 2018 - In 2017, the number of Croats who read at least one book in those 12 months rose by three percentage points, and translated books written by foreign authors seemed to be more and more popular among readers, according to findings of an opinion poll conducted in Zagreb recently.
