Chinese Investors Interested in Ports of Zadar and Rijeka

ZAGREB, June 8, 2018 - Croatia is interested in introducing a direct airline route to China while the Chinese side, aside from the Pelješac Bridge, is interested in the ports of Zadar and Rijeka, a state secretary at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Mihotić, said in an interview with Hina.

High-Ranking Chinese Official Visits Croatia

China Welcomes Pelješac Bridge Decision

ZAGREB, March 26, 2018 - The appeals against the selection of the bid by a Chinese consortium to build the Pelješac Bridge were rejected because the State Commission for Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures (DKOM) found that the contracting authority, road operator Hrvatske Ceste, had not violated the public procurement procedure, DKOM chairman Goran Matešić said on Monday.

Pelješac Bridge Tender Appeals to Be Resolved in Weeks

ZAGREB, March 2, 2018 - The proceedings initiated by the appeals of the Austrian company Strabag and of a consortium comprising Italy's Astaldi and Turkey's IC Ictas against Hrvatske Ceste's decision to entrust the Chinese consortium China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) with the construction of Pelješac Bridge can be brought to a completion in two to three weeks, the chairman of the State Commission for the Supervision of Public Procurement Procedures, Goran Matešić, said at a business conference in Zagreb on Friday.

Zagreb to Celebrate Chinese New Year
