Croatia's Coronavirus Update: 798 New Cases, 11 Deaths

ZAGREB, 2 Sept 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has performed 9,989 coronavirus tests, and 8% of them, that is 798, have turned out to be positive, and 11 COVID patients have died, bringing the COVID-related death toll to 8,349, the national coronavirus crisis management team stated on Thursday.

Currently, there are 3,943 active cases of infection in the country, and of them, 450 are receiving hospital treatment, including 53 patients placed on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020 when Croatia reported its first registered COVID case, more than 2.56 million tests have been conducted, showing that 375,601 people have caught the virus. Of them, 363,309 have recovered to date.

Since the start of its vaccine rollout, Croatia has administered nearly 3.3 million vaccines, and 42.64% of the population, or 51.22 of the adult citizens, have been vaccinated.

To date, 1,619, 592  citizens,  that is 47.99% of the adult population, have fully been immunized.

Croatia’s Coronavirus Update: 805 New Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 1 Sept, 2021 - Croatia has registered 805 new cases of the coronavirus infection over the past 24 hours, as well as four COVID-19-related deaths, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

The number of active cases currently stands at 3,632, and there are 440 COVID patients in hospitals, including 59 on ventilators, which is six more than on Tuesday.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was recorded in Croatia, a total of 374,803 people have contracted the novel virus, of whom 8,338 have died and 362,833 have recovered, including 383 in the last 24 hours.

There are currently 7,423 people in self-isolation.

To date, 2,554,090 people have been tested, including 10,094 over the past 24 hours.

As at 31 August, 3,271,036 doses of vaccine have been administered, and 42.54% of the total population, or 51.10% of the adult population, have been inoculated.

A total of 1,726,531 persons have received at least one dose, while 1,614,792 of them have been fully vaccinated (1,544,505 persons received two doses plus 70,287 received the single-dose Jannsen vaccine), so 47.85% of the adult population have been been fully vaccinated.

Croatia’s Coronavirus Update: 668 New Cases, 3 Deaths, 465 Recoveries

ZAGREB, 31 Aug, 2021 - In the last 24 hours, Croatia has conducted 9,610 coronavirus test and 7% of them, that is 668, have turned out to be positive, while the number of COVID-related death toll has risen by three to 8,334, the national COVID-19 crisis management team reported on Tuesday.

Currently there are  3,214 active cases of the infection with coronavirus, including 423 hospitalised COVID patients.

The crisis management team reported today that there were 53 patients on ventilators, two fewer than on Monday.

Since 25 February 2020 when Croatia reported it first registered case of the infection with that novel virus, 2.54 million tests have been conducted. To date, 373,998 people have tested positive, and of them 362,450 have recovered, including 465 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Since the beginning of the vaccine rollout, 3,264,851 vaccine doses have been applied, and 42.46% of the total population, or 51% of the adult population have got vaccinated.

To date, 1,611,262 citizens have been fully inoculated.

Croatia Logs 139 New COVID Cases, 6 Fatalities

ZAGREB, 30 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 139 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19-related deaths were registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Monday.

There are currently 3,014 active cases, including 427 hospitalised patients, 55 of whom are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 373,330 cases of the infection have been reported and 8,331 people have died.

A total of 361,985 people have recovered, including 450 in the past 24 hours. 

Currently, 7,744 people are self-isolating.

A total of 2,534,386 tests have been conducted, including 3,784 in the past 24 hours.

As of 29 August, 3,258,375 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.38% of the population having been vaccinated or 50.91% of the adult population.

One dose has been administered to 1,719,744 people while 1,607,430 people have received both shots and 68,799 people have received the single-dose Jannsen vaccine, which makes 47.64% of the adult population.

Croatia Reports 377 COVID-19 Cases, One Death

ZAGREB, 29 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 377 new coronavirus cases and one COVID-19-related death have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Sunday.

There are currently 3,331 active cases, including 391 hospitalised patients, of whom 51 are on ventilators.

Currently 7,404 people are self-isolating. A total of 2,530,602 people have been tested, including 9,570 in the last 24 hours.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 373,191 people have been infected, of whom 8,325 have died.

A total of 361,535 people have recovered, including 479 in the last 24 hours.

50.88% of adult population vaccinated

To date, 3,257,094 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.36% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.88% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,718,925 persons while 1,606,701 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,538,169 have received both doses and 68,532 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.62% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 595 New COVID-19 Cases, Six Deaths

ZAGREB, 28 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 595 new coronavirus cases and six COVID-19-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Saturday, noting that 10,173 tests were conducted in that period.

There are currently 3,434 active cases, including 374 hospitalised patients, of whom 43 are on ventilators.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 372,814 people have been infected, of whom 8,324 have died.

A total of 361,056 people have recovered, including 508 in the last 24 hours.

Currently 8,061 people are self-isolating.

To date, 2,521,032 people have been tested.

To date, 3,253,119 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.30% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.81% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,716,520 persons while 1,604,377 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,536,599 have received both doses and 67,778 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.55% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 596 COVID-19 Cases, Two Deaths

ZAGREB, 27 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 596 new coronavirus cases and two COVID-19-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Friday, noting that 9,532 tests were conducted in that period.

There are 372 hospitalised patients, including 47 on ventilators.

The number of active cases stands at 3,353 and 7,295 persons are self-isolating.

Since 25 February 2020, when the first case of the disease was reported in Croatia, 372,219 people have been infected, of whom 8,318 have died.

A total of 360,548 people have recovered, including 494 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 2,510,859 people have been tested, including 9,532 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,244,822 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.20% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.69% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,712,434 persons while 1,599,278 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,532,388 have received both doses and 66,890 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.40% of the adult population.

Croatia Logs 638 New Coronavirus Cases, Six Deaths

ZAGREB, 26 Aug 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 638 coronavirus cases and six COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

The number of active cases is 3,253 and there are 358 hospitalized patients, including 43 on ventilators, while 7,058 persons are self-isolating.

To date, 2,501,327 tests for the virus have been conducted, including 10,428 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,236,170 vaccine doses have been administered, with 42.09% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.57% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,708,154 persons while 1,594,019 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,528,016 have received both doses and 66,003 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.25% of the adult population.

To date, Croatia has registered 371,623 coronavirus cases and 8,316 deaths, while 360,054 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 330 in the past 24 hours.

Croatia Logs 677 New Coronavirus Cases, Four Deaths

ZAGREB, 25 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 677 coronavirus cases and four COVID-related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Wednesday.

The number of active cases is 2,951 and there are 356 hospitalised patients, including 46 on ventilators, while 6,858 persons are self-isolating.

To date, 2,490,899 tests for the virus have been conducted, including 10,453 in the last 24 hours when the share of positive tests was 6.5%.

To date, 3,227,814 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.99% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.45% of adults.

One dose has been administered to 1,703,929 persons while 1,589,077 persons have been fully vaccinated -- 1,523,885 have received both doses and 65,192 have received the single-dose Janssen vaccine -- which is 47.1% of the adult population.

To date, Croatia has registered 370,985 coronavirus cases and 8,310 deaths, while 359,724 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 282 in the past 24 hours.

ZAGREB, 24 Aug, 2021 - In the past 24 hours, 470 coronavirus cases and three related deaths have been registered in Croatia, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Tuesday.

The number of active cases is 2,560 and there are 330 hospitalised patients, including 44 on ventilators, while 6,961 persons are self-isolating.

To date, Croatia has registered 370,308 coronavirus cases and 8,306 deaths, while 359,442 persons have recovered from COVID-19, including 343 in the past 24 hours.

To date, 2,480,446 persons have been tested for the virus, including 9,989 in the last 24 hours.

To date, 3,219,595 vaccine doses have been administered, with 41.9% of the population having been vaccinated, including 50.35% of adults.
