By 18 June 2018

Marin Čilić achieved his best career ranking in January 2018 when he was number 3.

Croatia’s best singles tennis player Marin Čilić has fallen yet again in the latest ATP rankings released on Monday and is now the sixth best player in the world, on June 18, 2018.

In front of Čilić is the most recent addition to the ATP top ten ranking, the temperamental Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov, who has been predicted to be the next Roger Federer.

Borna Ćorić has progressed two places and is now the 34th best tennis player in the world. Ivo Karlović dropped from the top 100, decreasing 24 places from last week to be in the 114th position. On the other hand, progress was made by both Viktor Galović and Nino Serdarušić. Galović climbed from 180th to 179th position and Serdarušić from 197th to the 196th position.

There was also a change among the top three. Roger Federer, who won his 98th title career in Stuttgart this weekend, jumped back to first place, while Spaniard Rafael Nadal fell to the second position. Germany’s Alexander Zverev is still the third.

For the WTA rankings, in the top 100 is Croatia’s best female tennis player Petra Martić, who has moved up 3 places to be 45th, while Donna Vekić is in 55th place. Jana Fett is in 115th, Ana Konjuh in 127th, and Mirjana-Lučić-Baroni in 204th.

The next major tournament is Wimbledon, which will take place in London from July 2 to July 15, 2018.
