Croatia 23rd in Winter Olympics All-Time Medal Table

ZAGREB, February 3, 2018 - With a total of 332 medals (118 gold, 113 silver and 101 bronze) Norway is the first in the all-time Winter Olympics medal count, while Croatia ranks 23rd of a total of 42 countries that have won medals at those games.

Croatia has so far bagged four golds, six silver medals and one bronze (11 on aggregate) and the medalists are the best national female Alpine skier Janica Kostelić with four gold and two silver medals, her brother Ivica Kostelić, who has grabbed four silver medals in Alpine skiing, and biathlon athlete Jakov Fak, now competing for Slovenia, who has won one bronze medal.

Norwegian Ole Einar Bjorndalen, who first appeared at the Games in Lillehammer in 1994, has so far won 13 medals - 8 gold, 4 silver and one bronze.

He is followed by his compatriots - cross-country skiers Bjorn Daehlie and Marit Bjoergen, with 12 and 10 medals respectively.

Croatia's Janica Kostelić ranks 20th on the list of the Winter Olympics medallists.
