Pandemic Accelerates Digital Transformation in Croatia

ZAGREB, 26 April 2022 - The pandemic has accelerated Croatia's digital transformation and the situation in the economy in 2021 improved in that regard, with an average score of 2.59, a mild increase compared to 2020, when the average score was 2.52, the latest survey of the Croatian Digital Index (HDI) indicates. Record Number of Applications Filed for Subsidised Housing Loans

ZAGREB, 26 April 2022 - The relevant APN agency has received a record 5,870 applications for subsidised housing loans and Construction, Physical Planning and State Assets Minister Ivan Paladina has announced additional funds for all the applications that will be approved. Applications could be filed from 21 March to 22 April and in this, the seventh round, a new record number were filed. In the previous round, 4,739 were filed, a record at the time. Sobočan Company's Solar Power Plant Put Into Operation

ZAGREB, 23 April 2022 - Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Tomislav Ćorić formally opened a solar power plant in Mursko Središće on Friday, saying that the Sobočan company has put this northern town on the European map of positive production trends.  The project cost HRK 4 million (€533,000), of which 70 per cent was provided by the European Union. Croatia Among EU Countries With Largest Decreases in Debt to GDP Ratio

ZAGREB, 22 April (2022) - The government debt to GDP ratios in the EU and the euro area decreased in the fourth quarter of 2021 thanks to the recovery of the economy from the coronavirus crisis, and Croatia was among the countries with the largest decreases, according to a report released by Eurostat on Friday. ZAGREB, 22 April (2022) - The main Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) indices fell slightly on Friday, with the Crobex decreasing by 0.09% to 2,134 points and the Crobex10 by 0.1% to 1,285 points. Adriatic Croatia International Club Invests €3.2m in Marinas in Q1 2022

ZAGREB, 22 April (2022) - Adriatic Croatia International (ACI) invested over HRK 24 million in strategic and infrastructure projects in its marinas at Dubrovnik, Trogir, Rab, Milna, Žut and Piškera in the first quarter of 2022, the marina chain operator said on Friday.
