Tennis Players Opening The Croatian Olympics In Style, But Tough Tasks To Follow

Ana Konjuh and Marin Čilić won the first round matches of the Olympic tournament

On August 6. 2016, the youngest player at the female tennis tournament at the Olympics, Croatian Ana Konjuh beat German Annika Beck 7-6, 6-1.

Marin Čilić won against the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov 6-1, 6-4, in a match to forget for the Bulgarian player. Later today, Čilić will be joined by his teammate Marin Draganja to play against Novak Đoković and Nenad Zimonjić in the doubles tournament.

Borna Čirić is to face Gilles Simon from France in the first round later today.
