The County Cancer League - Split and the Association Dea Dia dance studio are organizing the public health event “Zdravlje je moj đir” (Health is My Thing) this weekend in Split, reports Dalmacija Danas on May 18, 2017.
The event will be held for the fourth time in the city and this year’s edition will take place on Sunday, May 21st, on the eve of the Day of Nature Protection in Croatia.
“The intention is that our city participates, along with other towns and cities, in the promotion and preservation of health, the individual, society, and nature,” says the organizers.
The event will be held at three locations throughout the city: Zvončac, Sustipan and Swimming Club Jadran from 9 am - 7 pm. The program includes lectures, workshops, trainings, and dance and entertainment professionals who work with the preservation of health with the active participation of the visitors.
The event is free for all visitors and there will even be exhibition stands of various manufacturers of eco foods, natural cosmetics, handicrafts, clothing, and health books.
The aim of the event is to promote the preservation of health through a healthy diet, dance, exercise, fitness, personal development, the outdoors, environment, beauty, preventative care, proper breathing, fun, laughter and singing.
The official opening ceremony will be held at the central location of Zvončac (the lawn with the children's playground) at 11 am.
