The WTA Croatia Bol Open will be staged on Brač tennis courts in the second week of June

The tournament director, Mr. Feliks Lukas announced the player's list of this year’s edition of the WTA Croatia Bol Open on May 18, 2017.

At the press conference staged in Split, he pointed out that the tournament should be of the highest quality for this level of the competition, as fifteen players are ranked in the top 100 players on the WTA ranking list.

Apart from the high-quality sport, the events for the Bol visitors in the tournament week will be full of surprises. Some of the best Croatian musicians, as well as some world class DJ’s from abroad will entertain the spectators.

Mr. Lukas announced that Iva Majoli will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her Roland Garros title and that we will have the chance to relive her final match with Martina Hingis.

Mayor of Bol, Mr. Tihomir Marinković, invited all sports fans to visit Bol and enjoy the hospitality of local Brač people. All the revenue from the tournament tickets will be donated to the local fire-fighting department, and all other events connected to the tournament will be free for all visitors.

Here is the video showing how things went last year, and, as Mr. Lukas pointed out, the plan is to get the event to even higher level than that. As the 2016 tournament got awarded as the best one in its category, it will be a tough task, but we have nothing but confidence in his words.
