In the 19th round of Serie A, Inter footballers were away at Udinese and came away with a 2-1 victory, thanks to goals by Croatian footballer Ivan Perišić who orchestrated a reversal

Inter has entered the new calendar year with a good series of three wins led by new coach Stefano Piolio, continuing winning habits this Sunday, Tportal reported no January 8, 2017.

At a tough away game at Udinese they were down a goal, until Ivan Perišić stepped up his game. The Croatian national team member and forward scored a great goal in the 45th minute after a pass from Icardi, his fifth of the season in Serie A, after the home team took the lead after a goal from Jankt in the 17th minute.

It seemed the duel would end without a winner, and then in the 87th minute Perišić scored again, his sixth goal of the season, assisted by Joao Mario.

Marcelo Brozović also played the entire game for Inter which reached its new triumph fuelled by Croats and closed in on the leading teams of Serie A. It seems the Champions League is within reach...

  • There is a traffic ban on freight vehicles exceeding 7,5 t today from 12 o'clock noon until 11 pm on most Croatian state roads leading to the coast and in Istria. There are no restrictions on the motorways or on the DC1 state road. Dense traffic is expected on the A1/A6 Rijeka-Zagreb motorway in direction Zagreb, along the DC8 Adriatic road, on the roads in Istria, on the island of Krk and on the Krk bridge. One lane is free only on the following sections of the motorways: -A2 Zagreb-Macelj between Sveti Križ Začretje and Krapina junctions 38th-41st km in both directions; -A4 Zagreb-Goričan - traffic is suspended in the entrance lane of Kraljevečki Novaki from direction Sesvete and Dugo Selo towards Ivanja Reka junction, there is a local detour; in the roadwork area traffic is flowing in reduced lanes. Sections of the roads closed due to roadworks: -on the DC1 state road in Lučko (Zagreb); -on the DC8 Adriatic road at Posedarje; -on the DC6 state road, section Glina-Dvor border crossing; -on the DC502 Smičić-Pridraga state road. Traffic is regulated by traffic signals/one road lane is free only:-on the DC1 state road in Knin until 14 July; -on the DC1 state road at Mostanje and on the section Sučević-Otrić. -on the DC8 Adriatic road on the section Zaton Doli-Bistrina; -on the DC66 Pula-Most Raša state road.
