Discover Plitvice, Land of the Falling Lakes

Full Day Tour (including transfer)

4-Hour Tour of Plitvice National Park

Whatever the month of the year, one of the true spectacular natural phenomena in the world awaits you in Croatia, and are easily accessible on a day tour from Split with your private guide.

Plitvice Lakes are a series of stunning lakes and waterfalls, flowing over chalk and limestone, which have created a truly unique natural environment over thousands of years. From rare birds and bears in the woods to the caves and lakes themselves, it is no wonder that UNESCO declared Plitvice a World Heritage Site in 1979.

There are upper lakes and lower lakes, a superb natural interweaving of water that makes Plitvice so remarkable, from Prošcansko Lake (639m) at the top to Novakovica Brod (503m) at the bottom.

Whether you want to experience the lakes in all their frozen glory in winter (the area is usually covered in snow from November to March, and the lakes usually frozen in December and January) or enjoy them in the cool summer greenery, your personal guide will ensure you get the best out of Croatia’s number one natural attraction.
